• Fees include photo session conducted by the artist

• Quotes are based on simple nondescript backgrounds
• Additional persons in portrait are 50% quoted fee
• Framing, shipping and tax are additional

Portrait Process

Chon works primarily with photographs, this avoids the inconvenience and expense associated with long posed sittings. Prior to the photo session, Chon meets with the client to gather information regarding background, clothing and lighting. The photo session takes place at the clients residence, usually taking one or two hours.

Chon and the client will review the photos together and then select the images that are considered most desirable and, upon approval, he proceeds with the portrait. If necessary, a final sitting with the client might be required. Prior to finishing the painting, Chon will invite the client to make any changes or suggestions. In general, you can expect your portrait to be ready for review about 60 days after the photo selection.
